Roles and Responibilites
- Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's Spanish curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages active student participation and collaborative learning.
- Present scientific concepts, theories, and experiments effectively, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on experiments, demonstrations, multimedia resources, and technology, to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, speaking, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, promoting their academic growth and improvement.
- Identify students who may require additional support or enrichment and develop appropriate strategies to address their individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate Spanish with other subjects.
- Stay updated with current scientific research and developments, incorporating relevant and innovative approaches into the curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall academic progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding students' academic performance and any concerns or achievements.
- Participate in professional development activities and educational conferences to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a Spanish language.
- Teaching certification or license in Spanish Education(preferred), or native Spanish Speaker with teaching experience.
- Proven experience teaching high school-level Spanish, preferably in a diverse educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish curriculum, standards, and instructional methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of various backgrounds and learning styles.
- Passion for Spanish and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software to enhance instruction.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward teaching and learning.

The Archdiocese offers a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience and education.
