St. Francis Center, a long-term care facility located in Delaware County, seeks an Assistant Dietary Director. This position assists the Dietary Director with the daily functioning of dining in the facility. The key role of the job is to provide support and direction to the dietary staff. The Assistant Director supervises meal planning, production and delivery for all the food services in the facility. The Assistant Director will also ensure that the facility is up to standard in health and food regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day function of the dining services and Dietary departments in the facility
- Oversee Dietary staff in providing excellent food services
- Develops effective procedure in providing food services for the facility
- Consult with Administration and Nursing staff on all matters related to food services in the facility
- Supervise Dietary and dining employee’s in maintaining excellent service at all times
- Ensure that all food services perform in accordance with all State, Federal and Company regulations
- Attend to concerns and dietary needs of individual residents and family members
- Spearhead projects and programs for improvement in food services
- Perform other related job duties as required
Qualifications:
- Current food service sanitation license required
- Experience in food services in the Healthcare Industry
- At least one-year supervisory experience preferred
