Position Overview:
Cardinal O’Hara High School is seeking a mature and upbeat professional who will support our administration, staff, faculty, students, and families. The highly ethical and experienced team-player should possess a strong sense of integrity and desire to support all of the efforts of the Main Office.
Reporting directly to the President, this person will be responsible for providing high-end customer service to the entire school community. This is a part-time, 12-month position.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support in the Main Office, which would include answering the phone, forwarding calls and messages to the appropriate individuals, as well as, greeting and directing visitors as needed.
- Responsible for being knowledgeable and to implement the mission of Cardinal O’Hara HS.
- Maintain a good working relationship with Administration, Faculty, and Staff, as well as, the students and families of Cardinal O’Hara HS.
- Help to maintain the integrity and appearance of the Main Office.
- Stay up-to-date on current school happenings and the school calendar in order to answer any questions that might arise, and to share the appropriate information when needed.
- Interacts and participates in the school community by attending games, shows, and other school events.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
- Strong motivation skills
- Ability to work productively and positively with staff, alumni, and community
- Must be flexible and able to handle constant interruptions, and be open to helping other offices as needed.
Salary and Benefits: Salary competitive and commensurate with experience.
