The Director for the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Leading in a Renewed Church (LRC) will support the development and execution of initiatives supporting priest growth by working with leadership in various capacities.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of, execute, and facilitate upcoming foundational program for priests.
- Reintroduce and facilitate the Catholic Leadership 360 (CL 360) review tool for priests.
- Coordinate, support, and facilitate life-stage programs, such as those targeting newly ordained priests or new pastors, and potential new offerings, such as for priests in transition to new roles.
- Assist in the development of, execute, and facilitate training modules based on the Disciple-Shepherd-Steward priest development model.
- Support coaching (especially in partnership with CLI) and other mentoring efforts.
- Serves as a collaborative partner on the LRC team to execute other key initiatives, as needed.
- Supporting Relationships with Vicar for Pastoral and Professional Development, Vicar General, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher
- Deep knowledge of the Catholic faith and of dioceses.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- C-suite relational experience
