Risk Management and Compliance Coordinator
Location: Denver, CO multiple locations

The Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Risk Management and Compliance Coordinator to join our support the Archdiocese's risk management efforts by identifying, mitigating, and addressing risk-related issues in collaboration with various departments, our insurance broker, Third Party Administrator, and senior management. Key Responsibilities

Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support policy implementation. Conduct risk assessments and audits, coordinate with departments for effective risk management, and track/report outcomes. Assist with insurance claims, incident reports, and regulatory filings.
Compliance & Regulatory Support: Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and business regulations. Address parish administrators' compliance inquiries and assist with training requests, certificates, and cross-diocese training reciprocity.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the risk management and safe environment teams, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence. Manage the risk management services budget, track expenses, and process invoices. Monitor the Risk Management and Office of Minor and At-Risk Adult web pages for outdated information.
Programmatic Support: Oversee facilitator record-keeping, ensuring proper documentation of Safe Environment classes and participant attendance. Supervise the maintenance and retention of training records, assist with updates to knowledge base pages on Safe Environment requirements, and uphold the vision of the Promise to Protect and Pledge to Heal.

What We’re Looking For

A practicing Catholic who aligns with the Church’s mission and values.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in business, compliance, or risk management
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Experienced in working with cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Knowledgeable in industry regulations and risk management frameworks, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards, professional integrity, and a customer service-oriented, adaptable approach to changing and dynamic work environments.
