Holy Cross Academy early childhood program is essential for full time working parents and those with a desire for Catholic Education. Hiring for Teacher Assistant working with 2-5 year olds. 7:00-12:30, 7:30-3:30 or 8:00-4:00. Teacher assistants should be nurturing, patient and be full of kindness. Assistants help teachers with daily activities, prepping materials, art projects, monitoring outside time and playing with the children. The position has routine monthly schedules which allows for staff to commit to working specific days for the Fall and Spring. Positions can be part-time or full time. Candidate should be caring, patient, and nurturing flexible, able to multitask and adjust to situations quickly able to attend to children as needed for basic first aid: band-aids, ice packs able to work with a group of people to provide a team approach to daily tasks
Holy Cross Academy Early Childhood Teacher Assistant:
The position has routine monthly schedules which allows for staff to commit to working specific weekly schedules. Staff can work 2-5 days per week. The program is open 7:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. Work schedules typically are from 7:00- 12:30, 7:00-3:00, 8:00-4:00 or 2:30-6:00 p.m.
Candidate should be:
caring, patient, and nurturing
flexible, able to multitask and adjust to situations quickly
Sit in child size chairs, sit on the floor and play with children and move up and down stairs
able to attend to children as needed for basic first aid: band-aids, ice packs
able to work with a group of people to provide a team approach to daily tasks
