Position Summary
The Marketing Technology Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing technical marketing strategies across various channels to engage customers, generate leads, and support Augustine Institute brands, including FORMED, Amen, Word of Life, and the Graduate School of Theology. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, this role combines creativity, analytical thinking, and technical expertise to drive results.

Customer and Product Understanding: Build a deep understanding of our users, products, and customer journeys to ensure all marketing efforts align with audience needs and expectations.
Lead Generation: Identify and spearhead lead generation initiatives across Augustine Institute brands, ensuring a steady pipeline of engaged prospects.
Marketing Automation: Leverage marketing automation tools to streamline tasks and create workflows in HubSpot and other marketing technology tools. Design and implement new processes where necessary to enhance efficiency.
Program Deployment: Assist in deploying new digital marketing programs, ensuring they are relevant, impactful, and measurable. Proactively address consumer challenges and provide solutions to improve NPS, retention, and customer loyalty.
Internal Collaboration: Build and maintain highly effective internal and cross-departmental relationships to facilitate seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
HubSpot Management: Take ownership of HubSpot contact properties and lead generation forms on Augustine Institute websites and landing pages, ensuring accurate data management.
Referral Management: Oversee QR codes, website forms, and other referral tools to optimize lead capture and conversion efforts.
Funnel Management: Manage interfaces between marketing and sales, support, and other lead funnel pipelines to ensure alignment and smooth transitions.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure marketing efforts adhere to GDPR, privacy policies, and other regulatory standards.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Marketing Operations Manager to optimize marketing processes using frameworks such as design thinking and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or experience equivalent.
2+ years of marketing experience with a focus on digital marketing.
Certifications with major digital platforms like HubSpot, Google, Salesforce, Adobe, etc. is a plus.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong background in user conversion, re-engagement, and retention strategies, with experience analyzing campaigns, optimizing funnels, running A/B tests, and providing actionable insights and recommendations for next steps.
Demonstrated technical aptitude with expertise in multiple marketing tools, especially CRM platforms (like HubSpot, Braze, Customer.io, Salesforce) to build and track campaign performance.
HTML & CSS proficiency is a plus.
Experience in HubSpot is a strong plus.
Experience working with Windows operating systems and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
An understanding of the Catholic Church, general knowledge of diocesan organization and operations, and possesses deep empathy for Catholic users of Augustine Institute products.
Strong interpersonal communications skills including strong facilitation and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Exceptional time management skills and ability to define and achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the organization's goals.
