Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop hiring strategies, coordinate interviews, and guide onboarding processes for Pastoral Center staff and parishes.
Benefits & Compensation: Assist with benefit programs, respond to employee inquiries, and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Compliance & HRIS: Maintain data integrity, support compliance with employment laws, and act as a resource for HR systems.
Training & Policy Development: Deliver HR training, communicate policies, and support staff development.
Performance Management: Facilitate annual reviews and employee improvement plans to promote professional growth.
What We're Looking For
A practicing Catholic who aligns with the Church's mission and values.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of HR generalist experience (SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred).
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred), and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Flexible team player who is willing to collaborate and bring his or her gifts to the Church in a professional setting.
