Immaculata Classical Academy is seeking a full-time high school humanities teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate is a joyful, faithful Catholic who is passionate about educating young men and women in the Catholic liberal arts tradition and committed to academic excellence.
The position includes the following courses: Roman Humanities, Catholic Apologetics, Rhetoric, and Latin. Core texts for the Roman Humanities course are The Aeneid, Livy's Early History of Rome, Tacitus's Annals, Boethius's Consolation of Philosophy, Augustine's City of God and Confessions. Our Latin program is based on Hans Orberg's Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata series and focuses on reading and speaking Latin as a means to acquiring reading fluency. Ability to coach team sports is a plus.
