Summary:
The Youth and Young Adult Minister opening is a full-time position that collaborates with
youth and adult faith formation teams and reports to the Director of Faith Formation.

The position will serve with the youth faith formation team, dedicated to youth
ministry with high school teens, ministering in weekly faith formation as well as any
special events, including our parish high school retreat, Steubenville Conference,
Confirmation retreat, and Camp Covecrest.

As needed, the youth minister should be able to guide large group sessions between
prayer, talks, and activities, and give teachings. In addition, the youth minister will guide
a small contingent of teens in High School Home Study. Young adult ministry includes
liaison work with graduated teens (both in college or working) and the existing Young
Adult groups with attention to contact and communication. Young adult ministry should
give particular support to the faith development of post-college young adults.

Preference will be given to those with ministry experience, a college degree (preferably
theology or pastoral ministry), and progress toward youth ministry certification.
