Day in the Life:
Under direct supervision, the Accreditation Specialist 1 implements patient safety programs. This is an on-site position in Boise, Idaho, supporting our Magic Valley/Boise locations. Some travel will be required. This travel will be day-trips to our locations in Wood River, Jerome and Twin Falls, Idaho.
What to Expect:
- Acts as the primary resource for assigned departments/sites for services related to the relevant regulatory program.
- Conducts and coordinates accreditation/regulatory standards-based audits.
- Assesses accreditation findings or risks, facilitates analysis, and recommends interventions.
- Tracks and evaluates action plans in response to accreditation findings.
- Supports implementation of system accreditation programs, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Documents and prepares reports for distribution to stakeholders.
- Assists in the development and presentation of educational accreditation programs.
- Applies accreditation standards and survey methodology to basic issues and problems; escalates more complex issues to department leadership.
- Possesses novice/beginning to working level knowledge of subject matter.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
