Overview:

As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a vital role in our dedicated team, working under direct supervision to implement infection prevention programs and practices tailored to our specific settings and populations served.
This role includes travel to various clinic locations in the Magic Valley area, Wood River area, and covering the Boise area.
What You Can Expect as an Infection Preventionist:
Implement infection prevention programs and practices specific to the practice settings and populations served.
Apply basic knowledge of the risk assessment concept and its importance to the infection prevention program.
Assist in designing and presenting educational programs to enhance infection prevention efforts.
Apply standard methods and surveillance criteria for identifying healthcare-associated infections; ensure patient care and other activities comply with OSHA, Public Health, CDC, and applicable industry standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare settings, such as:
Infection Prevention
Epidemiology/Public Health
Healthcare settings: Inpatient, Post-Acute, or Ambulatory
Microbiology or Laboratory background
Preferred Certifications:
A-IPC, CIC, LTC-CIP
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience preferred.
