Description
Good Shepherd Catholic Church is hiring a part-time custodial position. The candidate hired will provide routine cleaning for the church including but not limited to: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning restroom fixtures and counters, buffing wax floors, cleaning interior glass windows, cleaning classrooms and replenishing restroom and other necessary supplies throughout the church building. Reports to the Business Manager. This position is part-time averaging 5 -10 hours per week.
Requirements
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend or craw into awkward spaces.
· Able to perform functions that require use of machines, tools and equipment for the purpose of maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.
· Ability to work independently.
· Use discretion and confidentiality when working in office spaces that may contain sensitive or private information.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· High School diploma or equivalent.
