The Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas includes 90 Parishes, 1 Mission, and 19 schools. It stretches from Quanah, Texas just northwest of Wichita Falls in the West and extends to Penelope, Texas in the Southeast. Its largest metropolitan areas are Fort Worth, Arlington, Denton, and Wichita Falls. It has approximately 1.1 million Catholics in the Diocese, including 108 Priests, 86 Deacons, and 77 Sisters. The principal duty of all employees is to assist in the mission of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas.
General Position Summary: Ensure the facility is secured according to the daily schedule. Ensure the appropriate doors are unlocked for scheduled activities.
Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure all rooms to be used and appropriate entrances to the facility are unlocked and ready for use on a daily basis.
- Deactivate the alarm system before anyone needs access each day.
- Assure facility is vacated and all doors are locked at the end of each day or when evening activities are completed.
- Activate the alarm system each night after assuring the facility is completely vacated.
- Become familiar with the weekly schedule and who will be using the facility.
- Check all areas of the facility, parking lots and grounds.
- Communicate safety issues that cannot be readily fixed to Facility Manager
- In an emergency, contact police, fire and other protective services using the most expedient method.
- Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned.

- This position works in a typical office environment, but is subject to stress due to the evolving and quickly expanding business needs, tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
- Some general ability to navigate computer software
- Lifting: Safely lifting 35 lbs. on a regular basis
- Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking or standing
- Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time.

- Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing a security alarm or computer monitor. Visual acuity to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.)
- Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or with correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound.

Education And Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
