RECEPTIONIST/SACRAMENTAL RECORDS
Primary Function Of This Position
The Receptionist/Sacramental Records position welcomes all who come into or telephone the parish office and provides administrative and related office services to staff and members of parish committees. Maintains sacramental records and issues certificates as requested.
REPORTS TO: Pastor
Classification: Non-Exempt Part-time/28 hours
POSITION CONTENT
- Provides receptionist services for the parish office. 2. Performs secretarial duties for the pastor and staff.
3.Type Universal Prayers weekly.
4.Maintain parish and diocesan records.
- Send required/requested sacramental notifications or certificates. 6.Maintain Mass intention book.
- Sort daily incoming mail.
Position Specifications/Requirements
- Must be bilingual.
- Must have knowledge of and skill in using personal computers.
- Must be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office products, Word, Publisher and Excel.
- Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Education, Training And/or Experience
- Experience in an office environment.
- Experience working with the general public.
3.High school diploma or equivalent.
