Under the direction and supervision of the Facilities and Transportation Director, the custodian/maintenance person is responsible for maintaining the physical school building in a condition that ensures students, staff, and visitors have an environment that is safe, clean, and healthy.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) 12-month position. Normal shift hours are from 3:30-12 midnight. Monday - Friday. The shift hours may be adjusted during times when school is not in session.
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Physically able to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders
Must be punctual, dependable, honest, and reliable.
Must pass a criminal background check before employment
Must have or obtain a Protection God's Children from the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Sweep classrooms
Clean Cafe
Empty trash cans
Clean restrooms
Vacuum carpets
Wash windows
Buff floors
Other duties as assigned.
