Legatus, an international organization of Catholic business executives and their spouses who are committed to studying, living, and spreading the Catholic faith, is currently conducting a search for a New Member Engagement Specialist to support the organization's new member growth initiatives. This is a remote position. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Research and pre-qualify prospects.
• Champion National growth initiatives by engaging and following up with prospective members.
• Conduct introductory phone calls with prospects who have been referred via lead generation efforts.
• Prepare, modify and submit various documents, including, but not limited to: correspondence, reports, new member applications, alumni forms, transfer forms, and chapter dues sheets.
• Nurture and champion the "refer a friend" program across all regions.
• Initiate and support offensive marketing tactics to bring in new candidates for membership.
Experience Requirements:
• College degree preferred.
• Basic administrative and research skills.
• Knowledge of and computer proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases preferred (i.e., HubSpot)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills; proven creativity.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency; strong organizational skills.
• Maintain professional demeanor and ability to interface with high-level professionals.
• Customer service orientated.
