Position summary: under the supervision of the Dean of Catholic Identity and Head of School, the campus minister works in coordination with the Spiritual Director to shape the culture of Aurora Central Catholic High School to be inspired be the Gospel of Jesus Christ, caring for the spiritual needs of the staff, teachers, students, and their parents. In collaboration with the aforementioned groups, the Campus Minister provides leadership in the ministerial, pastoral, and spiritual life of ACCHS.
Duties
- coordinates service activities
- works in collaboration with the Spiritual Director, staff, students, and theology department to facilitate encounters with Christ through Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and Daily Mass.
- encourages and invites kids to participate in Kairos.
- leads morning and lunch prayer when Father is unavailable.
- assists spiritual Director in liturgy, particularly all school Masses
- liaison between school and retreat center hosts
- in conjunction with Spiritual Director, picks retreat dates and locations and encourages and mentors student leadership on retreats
- in conjunction with Spiritual Director, develops faculty/staff retreats
- collaborates with local parishes and their local YM programs
- work in conjunction with Spiritual Director on developing continuing evangelization and formation ideas for the student body
- other duties as assigned

Salary & Benefits
Salary for this position will be between $31,000-$50,000, based on experience.
Employee benefits paid for by employer - includes health, dental and vision insurance. Additional insurance for beneficiaries may be purchased. Pension plan available after one year of service.
