Extended Day Assistants work as a team to provide a safe environment and quality programming for students at the end of the school day. Hours are from 12:15 or 2:00 - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday, with additional hours earlier to support lunch supervision. Students range from 1-6 years of age.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have completed 40 hours towards Florida childcare certification within the first 30 days of employment (https://training01-dcf.myflorida.com/studentsite/admin/login.jsf)
- Be a practicing Catholic.
- Work well within a team setting.
- Be creative, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Must Complete a Level II background screening and all mandated training.
