Responsibilities
- Assisting the lead teacher in daily classroom activities.
- Providing one-on-one support to students.
- Helping with classroom management and behavior support.
- Assisting in the preparation of lesson materials.
- Supporting students during non-classroom activities (e.g., lunch, recess).
- Documenting student progress and maintaining records.
- Communicating with parents and other staff members as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience working with children, especially those with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
