Full time Third Grade Teacher
Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, passionate, and dedicated Third Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates for this position should be committed to nurturing the spiritual, academic, and emotional growth of every student while upholding the mission and values of Catholic education. This position involves teaching core academic subjects within a Christ-centered environment that fosters a love of learning and Gospel values.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lessons in core subject areas including religion, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into the daily curriculum and classroom environment.
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that promotes student success.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents using a variety of data points.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty, staff, and administration to promote a positive school culture.
- Participate in school liturgies, events, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
- A valid teaching credential (or in the process of obtaining certification)
- Strong classroom management skills, creativity, and a student-centered approach
Employment is contingent upon successful competition of a Level II background screening and mandated safe environment trainings.
