Position Summary
Walsh University is a member of NCAA Division II that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Game Day Operations Graduate Assistant will assist in the planning and implementation of all aspects of the game day experience. This position reports to the Assistant AD -Operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in preparation and game day management for all home athletic events
- Manage ticket office duties for assigned sports
- Provide customer service to University and general public customers for a variety of athletic events
- Provide accommodations for visiting teams and officials
- Assist in hiring and supervising student workers, interns and table staffs
- Perform assorted game-day duties, such as public address announcing and scorekeeping
- Complete other duties as needed

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
Must understand and support the Mission, Vision and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University, as a Catholic higher education university as expressed in Ex Corde Ecclesiae, and possess the following:
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards
students, staff and faculty. Positive attitude a must.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook
Education: Bachelor's degree is required as well as acceptance into a Graduate Program.
Work Experience: Should have experience within a collegiate athletic department.
