St. Paul School is seeking a Middle School Teacher Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants should support the educational mission of the Catholic Church.
Individual should assist teachers in working with students to follow their lead/approach and develop an environment that emphasizes communication, thinking and solving problem, and social-emotional skills. This individual should use a positive approach in dealing with behavior and engage with children fairly and impartially. This individual will also prepare activities, maintain and orderly room, clean and organize materials as directed. Individual should demonstrate professional standards of appearance, ethics and behavior, which serves as a positive role model for the students. This individual should be punctual and regular in attendance and be willing to fill in other assignments as needed. This individual should also maintain confidentiality concerning students and families while also maintaining a cooperative working relationships with colleagues and parents.
Demonstrates a commitment to and belief in the mission of the Archdiocese and St. Paul Parish. Institute faith based beliefs into the program.
Minimum of one year of administrative or child care experience, degree in the field of educational administration, or other relevant field experience preferred..
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to multiple audiences (students, families, and school staff)
Ability to operate with a high level of personal responsibility, integrity, ethical standards, and optimism while working collaboratively with teams or independently.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours weekly during the school year.
