Basic Function:
With direction from the Residential Director and general policy direction, develop, plan and oversee the administration and clinical operations of the Spanish residential treatment unit; supervise a sophisticated direct services group; act as liaison to Program Director and for community agencies, doctors and clinical social workers/therapists.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of
- Provide weekly supervision to dependently licensed clinicians for the purpose of discussing clinical
- Serve as link between Spanish-speaking clients, psychiatrist, and clinical social worker/therapists.
- When needed, work with Spanish- speaking clients, individually or in
- Model solid clinical interventions for staff.
- Initiate and coordinate planning affecting programs; detail guidelines for plans, review results; recommend policy/procedural
- Able to manage treatment unit utilizing specific Evidence Based Practice treatment models.
- Supervise preparation of required reports, records and
- May either be responsible for or assist director in selection of professional personnel providing direct services as determined by site or program(s).
- Supervise all employees of the residential treatment unit on the basis of prescribed procedures and policies; advise on procedures and handling of personnel problems; ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
- Implement staff training and discipline measures as needed.
- Responsible for approving timesheets for staff in a timely manner.
- Complete annual performance evaluations of staff.
- Able to write, revise and advocate for successful ASAMs with Managed Care Organizations to obtain prior authorization for treatment.
- Able to work in men’s or women’s residential treatment programs.
- Maintain frequent contacts with peers and/or administrative related personnel in other agencies for client and agency related information for joint planning and

Requirements:
- Must speak both Spanish and English.
- Must have competent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Master's Degree in social work or professional counseling or related
- LISW-S, LPCC-S, or LICDC-CS
- From three to five years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Must be able to form good working and therapeutic
- Must have the ability to relate to a wide variety of people such as clients, both professionals and volunteers; as well as from other organizations and systems, both public and
- Strong assessment, treatment and case management
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to maintain
- Ability to work with a diverse Spanish population and community organizations as well as staff at all levels.
- Must have the ability to effectively manage a variety of concurrent and varying
- Good working knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office Must be able to operate Electronic Medical Record selected by organization and act as trainer for assigned staff.
