Job Summary
The Catholic Diocese of Spokane seeks a full-time Chancery Receptionist as the first point of contact for our diocesan administrative offices. The position also supports our Vocations and Human Resources offices.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner, handling all inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in the reception area, including ensuring all necessary documents and files are readily available.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, refer callers to appropriate office
- Provide exceptional customer support and address any concerns or issues in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Assist with office management, including maintaining an organized and clean workspace, managing inventory, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform various clerical duties, such as preparing and distributing mail and documents, and performing data entry and filing tasks.
Requirements:
- One year receptionist or front office experience
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with visitors and staff members
- Proficiency with Office 365
- Familiarity with phone systems and the ability to use them effectively.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
