The College of St. Joseph the Worker is a Catholic institute of higher learning that simultaneously educates students in the Catholic intellectual tradition, while training them in the skilled trades. We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer (marketing-focused) who will help the college expand its content offerings intelligently and creatively.
*Position Summary*
We are looking for a highly skilled Graphic Designer proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and experienced in creating a wide range of marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, exceptional creativity, and the ability to bring our brand vision to life across various platforms. Position is located in Steubenville, OH, but for the right candidate we would be open to a hybrid/remote position.
*Roles and Responsibilities*
Develop visually compelling and on-brand marketing materials, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, infographics, social media posts, merchandise, and signage.
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver designs that effectively communicate our messages.
Actively assist in marketing channel management (social media, email), including copywriting.
Maintain college brand guidelines, ensuring consistent and cohesive visual identity across all materials.
Implement the college's brand guidelines across all platforms, including approved template management.
Refresh marketing materials on an annual basis to keep the brand current and engaging.
Capture photography of college activities, including events, building projects, student life, and more.
Manage the College's image and digital asset library.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Proven experience in creating a variety of marketing materials
Strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Skilled in photography
Experience in developing brand guidelines a plus
