Saint Rita School in Alexandria, Virginia, is a Catholic School in the Classical tradition. We may be seeking a full- or part-time science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. As a classical school, our teachers have a great deal of freedom in fleshing out the Diocesan curriculum guidelines. In our science program, we emphasize hands-on experiential learning as well as observation and appreciation for the goodness, truth, and beauty of the natural world. Candidates must be practicing Catholics and hold a Bachelor's Degree; some classical experience is ideal. A good rapport with children and strong classroom management is essential, but a teaching license is not required.
