Department: Advancement

Reports to: Director of Advancement

Position Summary

The Advancement and Alumni Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Advancement Team in cultivating donor and alumni relationships, coordinating annual fundraising events, and assisting with marketing and social media efforts.

Scope and Impact

The Advancement and Alumni Relations Coordinator plays a key role in providing administrative support to the Advancement Office and actively participating in all fundraising activities. This includes donor and alumni relations, direct mail appeals, and special events. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for managing the Student Ambassadors and overseeing the Spirit Store.

Principal Accountabilities

Maintain all donor files through Raiser’s Edge database.
Continually update and correct database records.
Coordinate productions and mailing of spring and year-end appeal letters.
Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials and other duties as assigned for fundraising events.
Maintain and update Military Wall of Honor and Vocations Wall of Honor
Maintain and update Alumni Facebook page
Provides updated Alumni info for KMC website
Reach out for Alumni updates and spotlights
Coordinate class reunions, manage on-site reunion events, including school tours.
Maintain and update Business Directory
Coordinate, manage and attend alumni gatherings.
Coordinate, manage and attend athletic alumni games/reunions
Record minutes at School Council meetings and Sub Committee meetings.
Collect, record, and provide obituaries for the biannual Quest Magazine
Work alongside Marketing Manager assisting as directed, including social media and other marketing materials.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement.
Assist the President as time allows.

Preparation and Knowledge

A minimum of three years' experience in an administrative position
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Database management experience – Raiser’s Edge preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills
