Overview
Responsible for managing the relationships between KofC and multiple Tier 1 and 2 vendors. This includes vendors for all commercial print, fulfillment, logistics, postage, scanning, and imaging. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, experience working in a regulated industry, and a deep understanding of vendor management practices. Strong focus on delivering maximum value from our vendor relationships and driving operational efficiency. Acts as a conduit between internal clients and vendors and can provide quick resolution to a wide range of issues at various levels of magnitude.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned vendors to ensure high-quality service and support, acting as the primary point of contact between the Order and its vendors.
- Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks to manage vendor relationships effectively, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements.
- Establish performance metrics and improve vendor evaluations to ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and service level agreements. Enforce SLA penalties.
- Collaborate with the Legal department and business subject matter experts to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that maximize value while minimizing risk.
- Manage vendor performance by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies, conducting regular vendor reviews and assessments. Collaborates with points of contact to drive continuous improvements to the program (s) and cost savings,
- Accountable for reviewing and maintaining all documented business requirements and procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring that vendor invoices are audited and contracted pricing is adhered to.
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor vendor performance and provide actionable insights to leadership . Executes sourcing events for the department, such as RFQ and RFP.
Skills Qualifications
Required :
- Strong knowledge of vendor management frameworks, procurement practices, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic insights.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Education
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years related experience in print management, procurement, vendor interaction, and project and program implementation
Preferred:
- Advanced degree preferred

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the workday.
Compensation
The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,400- $140,900 .
