Chicago Catholic Schools provides a top tier, spiritually and emotionally uplifting educational environment, surrounded and driven by faith. We foster and support a diverse community of learners. In fact, a quarter of our student body doesn’t identify as Catholic. The parents of these students value the academic excellence of a Catholic school education and the respect shown in our schools for beliefs, values and a higher sense of purpose.
We are blessed to have over 5,000 dedicated employees working in our schools. The Office of Catholic Schools provides support to our school leaders, teachers and enrollment marketing professionals. We prioritize developing positive character traits such as empathy and generosity.
The Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic schools serve more than 40,000 students in 150+ elementary and high schools in Cook and Lake counties. It is one of the largest private school systems in the United States. Its schools have received 96 Blue Ribbon awards from the U.S. Department of Education over the past 10 years.
