General Position Summary: Developing and managing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Flocknote, Instagram and other digital platforms.
Principal Accountabilities
- Create a social media calendar.
- Create social media communications for the Administration Department and the other departments of the parish and key ministries. (5 – 7 Media Posts/Flyers weekly)
- Monitor all parish social media outlets for comment appropriateness while communicating church teaching, evangelizing and directing users to parish resources.
- Build a strong relationship with parish departments and programs with the idea of helping, advising and advocating social media use and cross promotion as well as creating engaging social post that highlights liturgical celebration, events, diocesan, parish and school events.
- Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned.

- Makes decisions regarding terminology, changing content, adding content, mechanics.

- Approval of content by program coordinators/directors.

- This position works in a typical office environment but is subject to stress due to the evolving and quickly expanding business needs, tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
Travel Requirements
Education And Experience Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, design, or related field.
- Creative Content Design certificate.
