The Diocese of Altoona Johnstown has a full-time Executive Assistant (Finance) opening with a 40 hour work week at the Pastoral Center location in Altoona.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing high level administrative support by coordinating the functions of the finance department to include answering and initiating phone calls on the CFO's behalf, managing applicable calendars and schedules, coordinating all aspects of associated meetings and implementing mailings and communications processes
- Maintaining and generating associated reports
- Assisting Finance Office staff members as needed
- Creating, preparing and editing correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred practicing of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church
- Able to successfully complete background checks and training applicable to diocesan requirements
- Associate degree in business or related field and 3 years of practical experience providing support to executive positions or five years of practical experience providing support to executive positions
- Practical experience in Raiser's Edge or similar system
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- High levels of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity
- Excellent professional communication, time management and organizational skills
- Able to provide accurate information while working independently under deadlines
- Capable of presenting a professional appearance
- Possess attributes of dependability and punctuality
