Holy Rosary School in Flint is now accepting resumes for an ELA Coach.

Essential Tasks
- Model lessons for various subject areas;
- Meet with teachers to review student work
- Support and share best practices with K-12 teachers, as needed
- Engage collaboratively in the school-wide ELA goals
- Give feedback on practices examining student work,
- Make suggestions for improving student literacy
- Make suggestions for individual students who have particular learning differences or needs
- Use their knowledge of strategies that are sensitive to the multiple experience and diversity of learners that allow for different ways of demonstrating learning by all learners- including the educationally challenged, socio-economic disadvantaged, and those who are English Language Learners
- Collaborate with staff and other professionals to promote student growth and development
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required
Compensation and hours
- $50 per hour with a maximum of 100 hours ($5,000) for the 2023/2024 school year
