St. Agnes Parish in Green Bay is searching for a part-time maintenance person. This position requires a well-organized and detailed person to support the general maintenance needs of the parish. The maintenance person will assist the maintenance manager in maintaining the infrastructure of the Parish and ensures that the facilities are in good condition.
- Performs general repairs of Parish facilities and buildings, including Church, School, Rectory, and Convent.
- Performs and manages the exterior of the Parish buildings to ensure an optimal aesthetic appearance. This includes:
- Check parish properties for litter.
- Raking lawn of leaves and removal of brush and debris
- Snow removal from entrances as needed.
- Salt entrances in winter, as necessary.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and maintenance activities. These include:
- Ensure facilities security.
- Seasonal installation/removal of portable air conditioners in rectory and offices.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager.
To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires a high school diploma and equivalent experience/education.
- Ability to organize, effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an efficient manner.

To accomplish the essential functions of the position, one must be physically able to operate or work with vacuums, floor scrubbers/waxing, and snow removal equipment. The physical activities of the position include talking, reaching, grasping, lifting, bending, squatting, and other repetitive motions.
Work indoors and outdoors. Most of the time is spent on his/her feet, pushing, and lifting heavy items at times as well as working around noise from machinery.
