Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs clerical/technical support services in the Accounting Department.
Essential Functions
- Assists Amazon users with order tracking, returns, refunds, and account-related concerns.
- Responds to credit card inquiries from cardholders and internal stakeholders
- Maintains correspondence/accounting files
- Distributes the mail
- Orders supplies
- Processes bank deposits
- Prepares stock gift acknowledgements
- Processes annual appeal receipts
- Prepares Cash Disbursement Request forms for various departments
Other Responsibilities
- Prepares mail merges
- Assists the Controller and CFO as needed
- Works on various other accounting and finance-related projects
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- At least two years of college or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of mail merge is a plus
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Normal work week with occasional overtime.
