ABSN Program Manager

Reports to: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Academic Program Support:
Provide high level of assistance and operational support to the Executive Director of Operations and the ABSN Program Director for:
Planning, coordination, and evaluation of ABSN online/onsite lab courses
Enrollment management functions to facilitate onboarding new students and resolve problems related to advising, registration and financial aid issues for new and continuing ABSN students.
Administrative support for adjunct faculty hiring and onboarding for ABSN programs. Create and facilitate interview appointments. Send Welcome Letters to all adjunct faculty that have been hired /on-boarded. Create physical personnel files for adjuncts and files in the n drive. Maintain information needed for accreditation regarding teaching credentials and requests to adjunct faculty. Uploads adjunct faculty information needed for Accreditation to VPAA's office.
Collaborate with the Assistant Manager for Undergraduate Programs on ensuring that ABSN Program publications, both print and electronic, including websites, handbooks, Undergraduate Catalog, recruitment material and other documents are updated in all locations and congruent with UST guidelines.
Manages textbook and educational resources orders for the ABSN program per semester.
ABSN program budget monitoring including PT/OL budget preparation
Serve as an effective liaison with campus departments and satellite sites delivering ABSN courses and student services.
Collaborate with ABSN Director, PSON Operations on supporting administrative process implementation and improvement related to Course implementation New program proposals, program changes Policies governing enrollment progression Graduation Adjunct Faculty hiring Blessing of the Hands and Pinning Ceremony
Program Evaluation and Accreditation System Support Support data collection and report development related to the ABSN Program for: The PSON Comprehensive Evaluation Annual PSON institutional assessment report for the UST office of institutional assessment and effectiveness. Annual NEPIS report AACN annual survey. Manage ABSN program data, student records and program documents effectively in accordance with UST standards.
Manage key functions related to ABSN course planning, implementation and evaluation and serve as ABSN liaison with the UST Registrar. Add or change instructor in courses per semester. Add academic advisors in PSON ABSN Track Academic Advisor List- Faculty Version and in PeopleSoft. Make changes in the change form for instructor and remove holds in PeopleSoft.
Texas Board of Nursing Liaison
Mange processes associated with TX BON requirements for ABSN program.
Administrative management of NCLEX-RN licensure application eligibility process for ABSN Program Collaborate with Assistant Dean of PSON Retention Services and Division Dean for Undergraduate Studies on monitoring and documenting ABSN student eligibility for TXBON Affidavit of Graduation, NCLEX-RN performance information and employment placement for ABSN graduates.
Monitors faculty credentials as mandated by Texas BON Rules and maintains credential documentation for accreditation and personnel files.
