Under the direction of the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Director will serve to develop the Institutional Research capacity in support of the University’s short-term and long-term strategic goals, enhancing forecast models, statistical and trends analysis, and evaluation and recommendation of process and procedures. The Director is responsible for compiling and submitting University statistics to the required state, national, governmental, and other external agencies.
Assists in the overall data analysis for institutional support by collecting, analyzing, assembling, interpreting, reporting, and publishing institutional data in a proper and accurate form for a variety of publications and reports at the institutional and national level, both internally and externally.
Provides institutional data for higher level strategic planning, assessment and decision making. Makes recommendations as necessary and appropriate to enhance data collection and reporting. Performs data analysis related to the University strategic priorities and key performance indicators.
Assists in the development and analysis of institutional key performance indicators (KPI) and outcomes. Monitors institutional benchmarks and conducts peer analysis for competitive advantage and business review. Develops and runs various models for forecasting and projections. Provide institutional reports based on an adopted reporting calendar.
Participates in strategic planning initiatives including data generation and analysis, using both internal and external databases and sources. Complete reporting and data validation for institutional regulatory reporting. Gather data and work with appropriate departments to complete University surveys.
Research industry trends. Collects, analyzes, and disseminates data for divisions, departments, and offices throughout the University. Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters, in any way, involving the University and its agents or employees that come to the attention of the incumbent through whatever means, except as publishable in carrying out specific enumerated responsibilities of the job.
