Assistant Director, Help me Grow
Assist in performing a wide range of difficult to complex management activities; coordinate and direct operations and personnel so as to ensure efficient and fiscally sound operations; use independent judgement with the framework of established policies and objectives in decisions affecting program activities; make recommendations and assist in the formulation of program objectives, practices, and plans.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day logistics and operations in the following areas:
- Track productivity of all home visitors and supervisors.
- Analyze and make recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency in the model.
- Participate and present at monthly meetings to discuss logistics and operations with all HMG staff to problem solve and ensure ability to meet quality and financial goals for the program.
- Prepare reports as necessary for funders and regulators.
- Contribute to grant writing to incorporate appropriate data and information about the program.
- Responsible for all data input and analysis. This includes the following duties:
- Must understand all data requirements set forth by accreditation and by funders.
- Review data to meet the benchmarks outcomes standards and essential requirements
- Analyze data to understand trends, program adjustments required, and align with best practices.
- Analyze data and create recommendations to enhance program quality and productivity.
- Conduct quarterly audit to ensure compliance of data according to model fidelity.
- Review data to ensure model fidelity
- Review data entry to ensure all staff enter data consistently, routinely and accurately.
- Maintain and update client demographics and statistics.
- Be point of contact to coordinate with the performance improvement and finance office.
- Integrate data into unique dashboards.
- Be responsible for all accreditation preparation and implementation of visit.
- Support Program Director as necessary.
- Be responsible for program oversight during times of absence of Program director.
Requirements:
- Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Public Health, or a closely related field.
- Must be trained in all home visiting models.
- Will be required to obtain credentialing with the Ohio Department of Health within one year of employment.
- 3-5 years of fiscal, administrative, management and supervisory experience required.
- Must have knowledge and experience managing complex data systems and technology to support home visiting programs.
- Must have experience and expertise in managing and analyzing data
- Ability to take direction as well as independently
- Must have demonstrated experience in logistics and management of schedules towards enhanced productivity models.
- Must have demonstrated experience in quality assurance
- Ability to train staff for consistency, timely and accurate data entry.
- Must have excellent leadership and organizational skills, strong detail oriented skills with the ability to supervise and work as part of team.
- Must have the ability to effectively manage a variety of concurrent and varying activities.
- Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work a diverse schedule that may include evenings.
- Must have the ability to relate to a wide variety of persons, as well as organization and systems both public and private.
- Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software.
- Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation for travel.
- Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted to complete background check.
