Job Description: Serve patrons in a courteous manner, which promotes human dignity; clean kitchen and serving areas and equipment; and assist with general duties.
Job Duties:
- Courteously interact with guests while enforcing house rules with firmness and sensitivity.
- Serve food and assist in its preparation.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and floors.
- Clean kitchen equipment and tables.
- Welcome and assist volunteer groups and individuals.
- Keep written documentation of timesheets, number of meals served, commodity food usage, daily tasks completion, and donations.
- Evaluate the quality of food donations and creatively use them each day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school / General education degree.
- Ability to accept instructions and apply them logically and responsibly and to make productive use of unsupervised time.
- Illinois Food Sanitation course completion.
