Regional Change Management Project Manager
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Change Management leader to head building restructure projects and initiatives aimed at decreasing facilities expenses to increase evangelical outreach. The aim is to strategically reorganize in order to increase attendance and engagement within our parishes across the Archdiocese. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change/project management and have a heart for evangelization, with a passion for supporting the mission and vision of the Catholic Church.
Responsibilities: - Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with church leadership and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage difficult discussions around the long-term best interest of parishioners and priests within the Family of Parishes (FoP) structure.
- Evangelical Growth Initiatives:
- Collaborate with parish and regional leadership to develop strategies and initiatives to adjust resource allocation with the goal to drive increased attendance and engagement among members and the community.
- Work with the Department of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship and the Office for Clergy and Consecrated life to ensure that priests and parishioners are properly supported through the change process.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with church leadership, committees, volunteers, and parishioners to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders involved in the resource reallocation process and evangelization efforts.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial stewardship and adherence to funding guidelines.
- Attract and retain employees and volunteers who can support change efforts while maintaining cost controls and accountability.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Provide regular updates, progress reports, and presentations to church leadership and relevant committees.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and be a champion of the change process.
- Management:
- Oversee a team of 2 other project management experts in a newly formed department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) managing transformational change management projects, preferably with experience within a Catholic environment.
- Strong understanding of church operations, Catholic Parish life, administration, and community engagement principles.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Other:
- This new position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer for a period of about one year during scope and set up. Afterwards this position will report directly to a member of the senior clergy to ensure the core purpose of the work and project remain focused on evangelism and our call to mission.
