We are seeking a Kindergarten Aide to join our team at a school in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. The Kindergarten Aide will work closely with the Kindergarten teacher to provide support and assistance to students in the classroom.
- Assist the Kindergarten teacher with classroom management and instruction
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help
- Assist with classroom activities and projects
- Help students with basic needs such as using the restroom and washing hands
- Monitor students during recess and other activities
- Communicate with parents and guardians as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
