Description:
Applicants must desire to work in a creative environment and can help promote a well-organized functional classroom in which students take advantage of the instructional program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher.
- Supervision of students.
- Maintain of safe and welcoming environment.
- Implement scheduled activities.
- Work with individual and groups of students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior to employment, all candidates will be required to successfully pass the diocesan Safe Environment training and a Level II criminal history and background check in accordance with diocesan policy and Florida state law.
- Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
- Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
- Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
