Overview
The primary function of the Assistant Director for Admissions and Marketing is twofold: To assist with the enrollment management efforts at Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls by creating a strong awareness among various constituencies (prospective parents and students, current parents and students, partner schools, alumni, community members, and friends) that showcases the school as the ideal choice for secondary education; and, to assist in leveraging marketing and communication to support Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls.
This position reports directly to the Director of Admissions and works closely with the President, Board of Limited Jurisdiction, Administration, and other offices as directed in furthering the mission of the high school through a strategic marketing plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Assist in the creation of a comprehensive Enrollment Management plan. Establish short and long-range goals and objectives based on the school's plans. This includes but is not limited to:
o Working closely with the Director of Admissions and President, and Administrative staff to develop the enrollment management plan.
o Contributing to long range organizational and promotional/marketing plans (print, electronic, social, and other mediums) for programs and initiatives which support and promote the mission of the institution related to admissions.
o Visiting area elementary schools, high school nights, religious education programs, youth ministry programs, etc. as directed by the Director of Admissions, or President.
o Giving presentations in a variety of settings and groups (large, small, one-on-one, with and without parents, classrooms) and answering questions about the school from students and parents.
o Explaining admission, tuition assistance, and scholarship procedures/policies to families.
o Meeting with prospective students and families, arranging tours, shadowing programs, and coordinating open houses.
● Manage the Prospect and Admissions modules in School Admin.
● Serve as a member of the school's scholarship/financial aid team as required.
● Work closely with the faculty and staff to ensure understanding of the school's enrollment management program and engage them in the process.
● Coordinate with the Admissions Director to keep the community informed of school news including student accomplishments, special programs, and other events.
● Assist with regional/OCE planning and efforts, as appropriate; provide required reports to the OCE; attend meetings and training opportunities throughout the year as directed.
● Stay up to date on enrollment management best practices.
● Assist with the management of all print, electronic and social media communication of the school including, but not limited to: magazine, parent and constituent newsletters, etc.
● Assist in the development of engagement pieces, flyers, postcards, and manage all marketing campaigns including print, video, television, radio, social media, etc.
● Help develop video and photo images of engagement programs.
● Help grow the school presence in social media outlets.
● Support all programs, activities, and goals for the betterment of Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls
Requirements –
● Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● Exceptional writing skills to develop tailored letters, communications, and marketing.
● Attention to detail and organizational skills.
● Ability to interpret and summarize data.
