The Principal administers (designs, develops, directs and evaluates) the school's academic programs and provides leadership in academic excellence and faith development.

- Gives priority to fostering faith community.
- Involves members of the community in prayer and liturgy.
- Gives priority to the development of the total Catholic quality of the school.
- Fosters quality interpersonal relationships in an atmosphere of Christian love.
- Emphasizes service-consciousness of teachers/students.
Director of professional growth and development of teachers
- Represents school staff within parish leadership.
- Communicates with faculty regularly.
- Recruits, interviews and contracts staff persons-teaching and non-teaching.
- Provides for growth, development and evaluation of faculty/staff.
Educational leader
- Facilitates development/review of school philosophy and goals.
- Facilitates development/review of total curriculum that integrates the students' intellectual,
religious, social, emotional and physical growth in light of the Gospel.
- Builds parent communication with faculty & encourages parent- teacher-student interaction.
- In classroom teaching, displays experience and enthusiasm for the profession.
Administrator
- Supervises daily operation and maintenance of the school.
- Supervises and facilitates school related organizations.
- Insures compliance with the state code and the Archdiocesan guidelines.
- Insures the health and safety of the students by providing a safe learning environment.
Executive Officer of the Parish School Board
- Reflects the goals of the school, faculty, needs of students and expectations of the parents.
- Assists in initiating, developing and implementing local education board policies.
- Informs, confers with board in those areas that are its responsibility.
- Initiates and/or actively participates in long-range planning for the school and/or parish.
- Assists board in assessing executive officer's effectiveness.
- Assists board in self-assessing its effectiveness.
Public relations person
- Maintains open communication with staff, students, parents, pastor, Board of Education,
school/parish organizations and community.
- Communicates school's values, needs, efforts and accomplishments to the total community.
- A Masters degree or its equivalent (certification in administration preferred)
- Five years of demonstrated success in teaching
- Commitment to a Catholic philosophy of education
- Excellent interpersonal skills
