You will be responsible for the following:
Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech and language disorders in children ages 3-14
Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of students
Educate parents and family members about speech disorders and causes
Develop Private School Service Plans (PSSP) and report progress to parents and teachers
Hold PSSP meetings and build strong relationships with parents and school teams
Work cooperatively with all members of the PSSP instructional team, including administration, local district, general education teachers, and parents
Maintain necessary records of assessment, attendance, and progress to evaluate student learning
