The Archdiocese of Chicago (AoC) is the third largest diocese in the United States and serves more than 2.2 million Catholics in 347 parishes in Cook and Lake Counties. The Archdiocese, pastored by Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, has more than 15,000 employees across its ministries, including Catholic Charities, the region’s largest nonprofit social service agency. The Archdiocese also has one of the country’s largest seminaries. The Archdiocese’s 217 elementary and secondary schools comprise one of the largest U.S. private school systems.
The Evaluation and Data Analyst Internship will work specifically with the Human Resource Operations and Compensation departments to work on the process assessment and improvement functions within the the Archdiocese of Chicago (AoC). This role is responsible for partnering with project leads to identify, track and assess key performance indicators for each initiative within the department. In addition, this individual will utilize their data and analytics skills to study various elements of performance at locations within the AoC, to inform broader policy and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities listed are not limited to other duties as assigned:
Identify appropriate metrics to assess strategic initiatives within AoC.
Develop and lead processes for collecting data to support the identified metrics.
Recommend and implement best of breed tools to track and evaluate program effectiveness.
Produce regular reports assessing the effectiveness of the various programs and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze data sets to discover areas for improvement, and isolate practices driving high performance.
Identify and implement database, business intelligence, statistics or other tools as needed to support assessment and analysis.
Perform other ad hoc data analysis and program evaluation, as needed.
