Job Summary
We are seeking a Middle School Math and Social Studies Teacher to join our team for Grades 6, 7, and 8. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, have a strong background in both math and social studies, and be dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment for middle school students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification for middle school math and social studies
- Proven experience teaching math and social studies at the middle school level
- Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum standards and best practices in teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for math and social studies in accordance with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and challenging academic experience for students
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
