A Middle School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year
Date Needed: August 2025
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher for our middle school students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science education, possess strong communication skills, and create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, and other hands-on activities to enhance student learning.
- Assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, and other evaluative measures.
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress and performance.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a positive school culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid teaching license or certification for middle school science.
- Proven experience teaching science to middle school students.
- Strong knowledge of middle school science curriculum and instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
- Strong classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Ability to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Familiarity with STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education initiatives.
