Location: Saint Lawrence Catholic Church & School (Indianapolis, IN)
Status: Full-Time (35-40 hours/week; 65% School, 35% Parish)
FLSA: Exempt
Saint Lawrence Catholic Church & School is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Payroll & Tuition Manager to support both parish and school operations. This role is responsible for processing payroll, managing school tuition and financial aid records, maintaining student data accuracy, and providing essential accounting and administrative
support.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process payroll for lay employees and stipends for pastoral staff
-Manage tuition, financial aid, and fundraiser accounting
- Maintain student data and certify reports in the State's Data Exchange system
- Handle Safe Parish compliance for volunteers and staff
- Support school budget planning and fundraising coordination
- Provide clear, confidential communication with staff, families, and parishioners.
Qualifications:
-2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
-Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
-High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary coursework a plus)
-Must pass background check and complete Safe Parish Training
- Bilingual skills are a plus
This position requires occasional evening/weekend hours for school events.
