Saint Timothy Catholic School is looking for someone who has a background in special education to work in a support role for the 2025-2026 school year. The vision is to have an additional educator working in our resource department, who would support a select number of students across the elementary grade levels, and would also collaborate directly with the classroom teachers with whose students they are serving.
Prerequisites:
- a desire to be consistently improving
- the ability to manage a classroom
- the willingness to call parents on the telephone
- the desire to see every child in your classroom space
- communication skills with both kids and adults
- a degree in the field of special education
- a passion for kids
- a love of our Catholic faith
- presence in the classroom that won't bore your students
Helpful to Have:
- 1 or more years of teaching experience
- A master's in education
- a knowledge of Poisitive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
